Philip is our Director and our Compliance Officer for Finance and Administration (COFA) at WT Solicitors. With a strong background in finance, accounting and business administration, Phil is responsible for overseeing the firm’s financial compliance, strategic operations, and overall governance.

Although not a solicitor, Phil has in-depth knowledge of legal finance and compliance requirements, ensuring that the firm operates in full alignment with SRA regulations. His proactive approach to risk management, internal controls, and financial reporting supports the firm’s commitment to transparency and professional excellence.

As a Director, Phil plays a key role in shaping the firm’s vision and ensuring operational efficiency. He is also actively involved in business planning, risk management, and regulatory compliance, working closely with other senior leaders to drive the firm’s growth and long-term success.

With a proactive approach to both financial compliance and strategic leadership, Phil is committed to upholding the highest standards in the management of our legal practice. Outside of work, he is passionate about following industry insights and engaging in a good round of golf.
